Ajdin Zebić was born and raised in Jablanica, where the Neretva cuts its way between Čvrsnica and Prenj — and he knows these mountains like his own backyard. Before becoming a tour guide, he followed a path few people in this line of work ever take: from the Aviation Grammar School in Mostar and schooling in the United Kingdom (European School Culham, RAF Air Cadets) to a degree in English Language and Literature from Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar.
For two decades he worked as an interpreter for UNDP, the US Embassy, the OSCE and international missions in BiH — hence his fluent English and the ease with which he communicates with guests from all over the world. Alongside that, he built a second career: he was a flight coordinator in forest firefighting, worked with the helicopter squadron of the Armed Forces of BiH (Mi-8) and coordinated flights of the Austrian EUFOR Black Hawk helicopters and Canadair aircraft during major wildfires in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
He is a trained helicopter rescuer and has completed a mountain rescue course and an alpine climbing course in Wales (UK). He founded the extreme sports club “4Seasons”, co-founded the “Plasa” mountaineering society and is an active member of PSD “Vilinac”. Today he is a certified tour guide in the cross-border region of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

Guests often come back, and in their many reviews (a good number of them in German) they mostly praise how clean the house is and how helpful Ajdin is, always ready to help plan a tour.
